Great Rochester History The George Eastman House is a wonderful place to visit to get a real taste of Rochester history. There is an extensive display of photographic history in addition to the preserved residence of George Eastman. The spring flower exhibit is the best time to go.
One of those historic places everyone should see From the time I was a young child living in Rochester, NY I have visited the George Eastman House. It is an amazing accumulation of all the early photograph-related inventions and innovations of the past and present. Not only is it a cheap outing, but it offers an exciting, yet educational look into the world of physics and photography. If you haven't been there yet, give it a try - you won't be dissapointed!
Amazing place The George Eastman House is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The house is amazing. From the details on the walls to the decorations, everything is an extremely interesting glimpse into the life of the creator of Eastman Kodak. Two of the rooms fascinated me. Photography The history of photography on display. The gardens here are beautiful -- especially in the spring. Inside you will find a wonderful display from the history of photography as well as learn the histroy of the life of Gearge Eastman. It is a quite and relaxong place to leaisurely wlak about and take it all in.

everyone should visit this place at least once. You could spend the better part of your day looking at everything here. The price is a bit high but it's worth it for the history you'll learn while you are there. Whenever we have out of towners here we take them. They love it.
Excellent This museum is great for middle to high school kids and adults. Gives a great snapshot of Rochester in its heyday. Easy to spend an entire day going through.
