I had an appointment scheduled for 10:15 AM and arrived at 10:30 AM, which is within the clinic’s stated 16-minute grace period. Despite this, the receptionist stated she needed to ask the doctor whether I could still be seen. I explained that this visit was urgent, as it was necessary to obtain a referral to the surgeon who performed my prior surgery following recent imaging that identified a new lump at my surgical site.
