Gentry Finance (Tooele) – I took out a loan at the Tooele branch, never cashed the check. Got the loan on Friday, on Tuesday realized I didn't really need the money. They are charging me $52 in interest on a check I never cashed and I haven't even had the check a week. That's crazy!!

Past boarderline harassment – They will lend you money when you need it, they lack any sort of customer service period. Once you get a loan from them the calls begin, they call you a day before your loan is due, they call you several times a day. I have phone records of 4 calls in one day! They spoke with manager because I could not take personal calls at MY JOB. They told her they want the phone number to the office for GARNISHMENT!!!! if you want to get disrespected – gentry will lend you the money when you NEED it. but like other people say, they harass you like no other before they even open for that day. if you call and tell them that you will be there on a certain day, you better get ready to answer alot of questions in case you couldnt go for more important reasons. they claim that they have no records of you calling in to tell them when you would be there. they talk to you like an animal when you are 1 or 2 days late. they never let you finish your ... read more

Loan sharking done the "legal" way. – Stay away from this company, along with murray financial corp. They charge outragous interest,and call you on the day you're payment is due to "remind" you so you are not a day late. And when you finally pay them off they send you approval letters every other day. Bottom line, they treat you like a common criminal when you're obligated to them, But when you are no longer obligated, they treat you like royalty.
