Currently in the process of legal action against Alan Whittingham and Gentech Power Solutions. Failed to deliver promised generator and correct transfer switch, and he is no longer responding to emails, texts, or phone calls. Suing to retrieve our $5000 deposit, that he has not refunded or has made an effort to refund. We have contacted Generac, Cummins, and Kholer about this incident and the character of the person representing their brands.

Hands down, go with Gentech! We purchased a generator from Alan earlier this summer. He provided all the expert advice on trenching and coordinated the gas and electric installations. Everything was ready except I did not have the pad built. Soon after I built the pad, Alan brought the generator but the electrician was super busy and had not gotten it hooked up yet when our first major storm hit today and sure enough BChydro went out.
