We went to Genos for a prom dress several months ago. The Associates are nice enough and they worked with us on payment of the dress, but the quality of the extremely expensive dress we bought is terrible. I'm sure this isn't the only company out there putting out poorly made yet expensive dresses, but I'd definitely look closely at what you are purchasing for $500!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! We came here to get out bridesmaids dresses for a wedding and what should have been an AMAZING time turned out awful! First, the women measuring you have no idea what they are doing! We have some women who have hour glass figures and they measured them completely wrong. The girls who were tiny and ordered their dresses "too large" just in case, got dresses that ended up fitting too tight!! After they ordered a size up from what the women measuring said to do!!! A VERY UPSET MOMMA. My daughter is in a wedding and this is where the bride wanted to go. Well that's was a huge mistake, the dresses the alterations ladies 3 different ladies to be exact put her in a dress that was nothing like the dresses they were buying for the wedding. I love Geno's! I'm extremely picky about special occasion dresses, and I'm plus size, so it's really hard to find anything that works for me. The first time I tried on prom dresses, it was at Bridal Warehouse. I didn't like it at all. Nothing fit and I felt like I was being pushed out of the way for the girls who were thinner than I am. today I went to go look at fromal dresses and the people there were so nice, they helped me and I felt right at home in there store. I didn't find the right size for the dress I wanted but they orderd it. that was nice and I would go back :D
