Dr. Megan’s helped me with SO MANY specific health issues (pregnancy related and not). She’s changed my approach to health as a whole, too - there’s always (always!) something you can do to help your situation. Super kind, knowledgeable, great teacher, I just love her!!!
When my wife and I decided to have our baby at a birthing center instead of a hospital, one of the first things they mentioned was their requirement that we hire a doula. When I hit my early 50's and started HRT, the doctor also referred me for "pelvic floor therapy." I was a bit skeptical and maybe even insulted ;-) I wasn't old enough to need THAT?! Dr. Megan was amazing! I was hospitalized for 4 months and lost a significant amount of weight and strength. I had several surgeries and was given an ileostomy. I wasn't sure if I would ever regain my strength. Dr. Megan took me step by step through my recovery and I'm back to normal. Strengthening my pelvic floor was my main goal but it was really difficult to find a physical therapist that did pelvic floor for men with an Ileostomy.
