Beautiful campus and chapel. The Close is a very special place. There is no denying that General has undergone significant changes over the last decade or so, but we are so blessed that the school continues to stay open, albeit in a different form. I always look forward to visiting this holy place in the heart of Chelsea whenever I am in Manhattan.
Beautiful venue for a wedding
Years ago I went to this garden, today I was told it was closed and that there were students on campus & that it wasn't open to the public any longer. I've been an Episcopalian all my life. I wanted to take my adult daughter. The person who opened the gate was rude and made my daughter never want to enter any religion establishment. Perhaps you need to put a sign on the gate saying, "Pubic No Longer Welcome". Then no one will ring your bell & bother you.
It's closed for visitors, don't go.
