I live in Eagle, but babysit in Vail for tourists. I called the Lionshead General Store just minutes before they were closing to inquire about treatment for altitude sickness & they had oxygen & other remedies. Despite needing to close, the manager offered to stay open until I could walk over to the store. WOW! Plus it was snowing, & I am sure they wanted to get home, yet they stayed open to help a tourist. WOW! Customer service there is 1st rate (plus they have such fun items!)
