This is by far the WORST finance company I have had to deal with. I paid off my loan and requested documentation emailed to me - a detailed report, a receipt and my letter of release. I was told “we are not a full service bank and cannot do that automatically - you will need to phone back (wait on hold again) and request that. I told them I need it the following day and they said no problem. I phone back and am now told it takes 6 business days minimum. Long Overdue Update on my Review: They called as back and answered our questions and inquiries! Thank you. We’ve been calling for almost an hour alternating with our two phones and nobody was answering. You cannot even make an inquiries and talk to the customer service.
Update: It is now Monday Nov 25 and I spoke to Faye at General Bank this morning. She said she will look into this and call me later today. I will update my review accordingly. Check your Credit Bureau if you have a vehicle loan with General Bank. They have stopped reporting my payments as of August 30. It is now November 23. Due to this my remaining balance showing is NOT correct and is almost $1000. less owing which is NOT posted to Equifax. I will be calling you on MONDAY.
I delt with Harpreet this morning, she was trying her best to help with my transaction. She went over and above to have all of the paper work processed in a timely manner to which we could avoid any further delays with the processing. I am glad that she took care of me and was able to set my mind at ease. There is more people like her in the world working for each other and i appreciate all of her help. Thank you again.
