I went in because I was having a problem with one of my skis. They evaluated my skis, made an adjustment and gave me helpful advice. Very friendly and professional with a wealth of knowledge. I recommend them and will certainly return if I have any equipment needs.
These guys are the best! Like the fair godmother of finding the perfect boot/ski for you. Out of my friend group they have found the right skis for - out of shape 40 year old who “used to be amazing but it’s been a minute” - former child ski racer - retired 75 year old who enjoys the slopes but is slowing down - an adult fresh beginner who is athletic but a bit nervous about skiing The location. Is by the bus stop- you can store your skis and shoes over night. It doesn’t get easier, better or more affordable than this.
Gene Taylor Sports is a staple within the Snowmass Village Mall for ski rentals and gear purchases. Went in the store today to buy a new pair of ski socks, they had a large selection and the customer service was great. It's nice to do business with and support a Mom and Pop shop like Gene Taylor's. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough for rentals or ski/snowboard equipment purchases.
Barry was excellent! We rented two mountain bikes for the week and it was the best deal in town. Highly recommend this shop for regular bikes and/or hard tail bikes. We even brought my daughters bike in and they fixed the brakes for no charge. Thanks, Barry!
need better snowboard gears but hey they are awesome!
