I always prefer these guys than any type of petstore. I've had multiple bad experiences with other stores, with Gems they are very knowledgeable and the fish are all healthy, they have extensive knowledge, their tanks are massive, they also quarantine their fish, and not once have i seen a dead fish floating in their tanks unlike petstock and petbarn. I've recently bought shrimp from these guys, as well as multiple types of fish and ect, they will always ask to help or to provide any type of information
The guys at Gem Aquatics have been fantastic, knowledgeable and caring in helping me set up my saltwater tank. They are always willing to help, and give advice on anything I’m unsure about. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone, looking at getting into the hobby.
Extremely rude and poor customer service and racist staff. We’ve bought a pump for 50$ with warranty, it has problem from the first day of use, they didn’t change it despite of going and requesting them several times. We had to buy another pump and this one is working good. So the previously bought pump had problem from the first use, The staff/seller didn’t accept it and care about us, were rude and racist. .
