Great community grocery store. No gimmicks like the chains. No card required to get discount. If it’s on sale, it’s on sale! If it’s 2 for $3.00, it’s $1.50 for one. Unlike the big chains. The produce selection is often better than the chains.
Its good but not that good
This store was a Nice store to shop at, a few years ago when the former Manager Jim worked there but Geissler's had to do something really STUPID and remove him, transfer him to another location....now the store doesn't work half as well, in fact, at the front desk, there is an Elderly woman, with Long grey hair, that talks, treats everyone with such disrespect...she's like the ol' Witch from the North! being greeted at the door with a big smile and how are you from debra. this manager makes everyone feel like they are truly welcomed. she is an asset to the store.
Geisslers is an independent grocery store which has good meat specials. They recently opened another store in Ellington. Also has good bakery products, hot soup and food bar, salad bar.
I always buy my meats there,and the prices are good on most items. I also like that they have paper bags.
This is an awesome "town" store. Very friendly people work there. They have the best meats in town! They even have better prices on a lot of their groceries than the bigger chains.
I can get anything I want from here like the super stores and it is family friendly. I always have nice people at the registers and in the store to help if I need soemthing.
