Was referred through the Orange County Bar Referral Service who promise a free 30 minute consultation which was never honored. Was charged $260 twice for two sessions only to be given an “I don’t know” and a repeat conversation from the first session. Kept getting my information wrong and expected me to do proceedings myself. After consulting a second law firm, for free, they have taken my case and I don’t have to lift a finger nor continue to pay for consultations which is currently hard due to having a newborn and not work... read more
The reviewer was referred to the Law Office of Cliffard J. Geismar by Legal Sheild's DSK Law Firm. The reviewer was charged a $150 consultation fee just to be provided the 800 number to the EEOC. Transaction date May 14th, 2024. However, the charge was refunded in the full amount after being sent to the reviewer's credit card company's dispute operations department.
Charged me $250 for a consultation and promised me he was going to read the contract over with me. He was an hour late to the meeting and he Didn’t even read the contract or didn’t have it with him. he was very pushy in wanting to take it to litigation once he knew how much money we were after… Not a good experience and do not recommend!
