Very well-run ferry service with an historic and complicated past. Everything about this operation is well run, clean, neat and the men running it were perfect professionals. Beautiful view of the Alabama River and of course transportation to the famous Gee's Bend quilting district. We drove the car onto the ferry and for $5 over and $5 back we had a great trip. Highly recommend this. Look up the history of this one while you're at it.
