0n the last day of November I tripped in my own house and broke my right femur just below the ball socket. Surgery on the first of December gave me a new femur and after 3 days in the hospital it was off to Geer for evaluation. Thanks to the wonderful nurses, aides and therapists at Geer, an additional 17 days of rehab had me home by the 21st of December, despite the 14 stairs and the fact that I live alone. Visiting therapists continued their good work, and by the end of February I was cleared to resume my life, just in tim... read more
