0n the last day of November I tripped in my own house and broke my right femur just below the ball socket. Surgery on the first of December gave me a new femur and after 3 days in the hospital it was off to Geer for evaluation. Thanks to the wonderful nurses, aides and therapists at Geer, an additional 17 days of rehab had me home by the 21st of December, despite the 14 stairs and the fact that I live alone. My mother went to Geer for rehab.On the first day there the doctor, whose name I won't mention at this time, thought she might have a blood clot in her leg. He did NOTHING about it for 2 days. When he finally confirmed it she was sent to the hospital. I was never notified! I found out when we arrived with dinner for her that night and she wasn't there. He blamed it on the nursing staff. There is much more but in summary that place is disgraceful. No one should be treated the way they treat people, patients or family.

My husband, Kevin, went to Geer for nursing care and physical rehab. They are the most caring, compassionate people. They took such excellent care of him. I would highly recommend these good people.
