Charged me $100 to say : could be this, could be that. Also your computer is too old to fix, bye now. And I think a good tech would be able to know that at first glance. Before taking my money but oh well what to expect...
I brought my computer in for repairs. While at Geek Squad some very very important files were deleted from my computer. While in the store the tech said “you are accusing geek squad of deleting files.” Regardless of if it was an accident or intentional they were deleted while geek squad was working on my computer. That is a fact 100% and I have it in writing not to delete anything.
Phone number for customer service is not helpful at all. Told us that they could do game console repairs but when we showed up with our console they turned us away because it's not under a protection plan. That would have been helpful information.
