I have been no-call no-showed twice now right before Christmas. Took days off from work to be there. And there is not a care in the world from Best Buy or Geek Squad. I called almost every day between the first and second no-show to ensure it didn't happen again -- still did. I will do everything I can to never use Best Buy in any capacity again... and will do my best to make sure no one else I know does.
Was there today with appt to p/u my new laptop with Geeks. The tech rep was very courteous, helpful and patient. He even forewarned me about a potential keyboard defect, which actually occurred later when I took it home. The name Brian comes to mind, the other is Anthony. So, I could be an old grouch and blame him. No blame, just good service. This stuff happens, more often in electronics than the usual crap that life gives out. I had to cancel an instore appt. Have been waiting an hour and still on the phone trying to make another appt. Canceled on line and was unable to make another apt. as their site will only allow you to go so far. The tech in the store was great when I picked up my tower a few days ago. Dealing with this system can make you crazy. Why spend the money for the Geek Squad when there3 isn't anyone to speak with. Terrible experience.
Can’t even call the store. Get transferred to India.
