Twice I have tried to get devices repaired here. Both times were failures, with frustratingly terrible communication. The first time they took my device and told me to come back, only to tell me when I came back that they didn’t have the parts they needed to fix the device. Complete waste of my time, no apology. The second time they could not tell me anything about what was wrong with the device that was not obvious to me, a complete novice. Extremely disappointed with this location. Inconsistent information given multiple times by different staff. Dropped off laptop Friday, inquire about it on Sat at 5pm and being told the tech is out sick and no one will work in my laptop until Sun at 11am. At 7pm (Sat) get a text saying laptop ready. Huh? How? On Sun coming to pick up my laptop, being told that information given on Sat is wrong that there was a tech working all day and that he ran all kinds of diagnostics with my laptop and that is good to go now. I had a terrible experience at the Bailey’s Crossroads Best Buy/Geek Squad. I made a reservation to replace my iPhone battery and even called the number listed beforehand to confirm details, but the call was routed to someone overseas who couldn’t help me at all. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, I was told the battery wasn’t available. Would never advise no one to buy their warranties. It is very sneaky and never to the point. Hidden disclosures and misleading. Also the people that manages it are pretty much untrained and have no knowledge whatsoever
