Beware of the Geek Squad in Columbia/Elkridge MD location: they told me my teal colored Lenovo yoga 5 laptop with touchscreen/backlight keyboard/that can transform into a tablet was dead and they can recycle it right now for me. I said ‘no’ I’ll take it with me to New Jersey to my brother in law and he was able to fix it because it only needed a battery. Wow! They had a hidden agenda! Don’t go here!
I don’t recommend coming here for repairs. I had an appointment for a phone battery replacement but still waited about 25 minutes in line to drop it off. When I came back hours later, I had to wait again, and the staff wasn’t very attentive, a “we’ll be with you soon” would’ve helped. After all that, they told me they couldn’t even repair the phone, something they could’ve checked before taking it in. I then had to wait again for a manager to process a refund. A frustrating and time-wasting experience.
