I brought an almost ten year old MacBook in to see about a battery replacement. I made the appointment through Apple's website. When I arrived they were running behind a bit, but I didn't mind waiting. When I was eventually able to speak with the associate about the issue, I was immediately shut down about a repair and encouraged to just buy a new laptop.
