My daughter made an appointment for her laptop. They opened it, said it was "damaged". Gave her a price to ship it off and a list of 3rd party people, then sent her on her way. They ran no diagnostics and didn't explain what "damaged" meant at all. She drove 30min to be given less than 5 min diagnosing or attempting to fix anything. The problems she was having was clearly identified on the request for the appointment. If they thought it was damaged enough then, they shouldn't have accepted the appointment.
