Beware of the bad reviews you see on here as I have been a long term customer with Best Buy/Geek Squad and have only ever had great experiences with them. "They said I'd get my phone in a week" yes, that is normally the time frame for a phone replacement...but they are on Apple's time. If a delay happens from Apple's side then Geek Squad can't control that. "They said my repair would take 20 minutes" no, your appointment is 20 minutes. Not the whole repair. The worst, I got my phone replaced because they couldn’t fix it they told me it would take a day and it took a week and they’re impossible to get ahold of, I called them multiple times every day and got hung up on the two times I did get ahold of them. They were supposed to call me when my phone came in and never did I had to go into the store a week later to find out my phone was already there for 3 days never again.
Do not take your Iphone 17 pro here to get the screen replace. They said the service would take 20 min. After 5 hours with no updates, I back to the store. The geek squad employee brought my phone out and said they couldn't fix and and here is your refund. I asked how lonago the new these. There was no response. I asked what the next step was, crickets. Grab the phone and left. Called Mr. FROG in Bay City. He said he could replace it in 5 min. Took it there had replace in less than 5 min for half the cost. Only 175 compared ... read more
Unprofessional service and property damage. Do not recommend. I brought my iPhone 14 to Geek Squad on April 26 for a battery replacement. Since the phone was a gift and was being shipped to another country right away, I couldn't thoroughly test all its functions on the pickup day - the device was turned off and packed. The issues came to light as soon as the recipient (my mother) turned the phone on. Both the camera and the flashlight were completely non-functional.
