BEST BUY & GEEK SQUAD in Albany, NY ALWAYS have Great Experiences at this Location from ALL the Representatives. The last two visits i had 2024 phone transferred onto 2025 phone. The Reps are 100% fully attentive, detail orientated, and finish my requests completely. Shout out to Rep. Grayson very informative, Mgr. Dan spent a long time saving old info, and another Rep. who assisted with making a $2.04 payment in the midst of a transfer, which then a new transfer had to begin to be sure ALL data was on the 2025 model phone.

The lady with he glasses was extremely rude anytime I tried talking she talked over me, and kept getting annoyed because I was trying to clarify a question/ questions. Seems more like she was in a rush to just leave instead of helping me but she seemed nicer to the white people that were before me.

I am in my seventies and I can honestly say I have never had a worse experience than dealing with Geek Squad. Purchased anew PC and they sent a trainee to set it up. After 2 days and being told she would be back of course she never did. After calling them 4 different times and being told someone would be calling me to make an appointment. Well that never happened either. If you have a lot of spare time on your hands try calling them.

Just had a frustrating experience at Geek Squad. I left work early and drove from a half hour away for a scheduled appointment to drop off a laptop for a physical repair. I waited 10 minutes on line to be checked in and was told it would be at least another 25 minutes before I can be seen. I understand delays happen, but 35 minutes for what should be less than a 5 minute appointment seems excessive. I called regarding a well-known problem with Windows 11. I wanted to know if there had been a fix for the issue. The person I spoke with stated that they didn't ever hear of this issue. But he wanted me to drop my computer off so they can have it for 7 to 10 days and see if they could figure out what was wrong with it. That absolutely was not something I was willing to do.
