Don't waste your time on the protection plan. I said I would pay the 150 which is in additional charge above the protection plan, to have a tech come to fix my ring doorbell and was told no I would have to troubleshoot again

I dropped my laptop off for a cracked screen and waited two weeks for repair. They said they were going to call and let me know when it’s done. I waited for over two weeks and no call. I decided to go up there today because of the long wait and found out that they couldn’t fix the laptop, so they gave me store credit for a new laptop, which is fine, but the communication to the customer needs to be better. A complete waste of time. In store staff said it could be the charger port and had to be sent away because the only way to fix that is with soldering. Once in Kentucky they advised the entire motherboard needed to be replaced because they couldn't just replace the port. There was nothing wrong with the motherboard, it was just the plcharger and the replacement motherboard would cost $740. The computer only cost $550 when it was purchased brand new 14 months ago.
