I've had two recent experiences with this Geek Squad location, and both have been disappointing. On both occasions I made an advance reservation for an iPhone battery replacement, and I'd seen the reservation confirmed in e-mails. On the first occasion Geek Squad called a few hours before the appointment and told they did not have battery for my phone. First, a disclaimer: I communicated with the Geek Squad by phone, and I cannot be 100% positive that this review is for this location. I ordered a washer from Best Buy, with the delivery and installation by the Geek Squad. The washer arrived dented, and they told me that they will take it back and that I need to call to reschedule. I called, and I was told that I cannot reschedule until the damaged washer gets back to the warehouse. But why? This does not make any sense! Five stars for absolutely stellar work. I specifically want to give kudos to a young man who helped me, I believe his name was Ricky. This young man was extremely helpful with absolutely everything I spoke to him about, and he helped me solve my issue in a manner that was so extremely convenient to me. Ricky was thorough and he found an almost immediate resolve to my issue, and even offered me help for any future issues I might find. He was exceptionally charming and made me feel like he was a family friend doing me a favor... read more
Took my iPhone 12 here, left it with them for three hours. They then called me back and said they wouldn’t work on my phone because it was too far damaged. I took it to ubreakifix. They were able to fix it in 20 minutes for cheaper.
I had some trouble with my computer and I got Jennifer as my Geek!! Totally awesome experience!! She was patient and knew exactly what to do!! It was such a pleasure to have her work with me and she definitely "knew her stuff" !
