I visited the Best Buy in Wyomissing on 02/21/26 after having ongoing issues with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. My Geek Squad Agent, Anthony A., was phenomenal. He was incredibly patient and spent extra time diagnosing the issue to ensure a total resolution. Beyond the technical support, he took the time to recommend a portable charger that perfectly fits my needs as a pet sitter who is constantly on the road. My MacBook Pro, which is crucial to my work, went on the fritz very suddenly. It’s new and I have Apple Care, so I got into my car and drove 45 minutes to the closest Best Buy, where I’d purchased it. The man at the door asked if I had a Geek Squad appointment, and I said no, by the time I’d thought to call ahead, I was driving and the Best Buy phone bot wanted me to be in front of my computer. I had an appointment to install a dash cam both front and rear. The tech at the Geek squad stated that the agent who made the appt only stated to install the front and he refused to correct the error and install both dash cams as he claimed he did not have enough time. When i called to speak toa manger i was advised that my phone number was sent to management but no one has called back. This store has the worst customer service an management. I have filed a formal complaint with the corporate office and the BBB.
Geek Squad has now stood me up on three different in-home appointments over three weeks. Two of those times they only called after 5:00 pm after I’d been waiting all day. I have left 4 voice mails and sent two emails asking for a manager to call me and no response. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
