Have always had great help, but this time Geek Squad personnel/Carter was not only rude, but belittling and unpleasant. He finished with me in short order, willing only to answer questions on one device. An elderly person stopped by and had one question. I said to go ahead as I had time left. But he said that it was like a medical doctor's office, you couldn't just stop in. And refused. Carter has not an ounce of customer service in him... why is he working in this position? Clear that he doesn't enjoy people or helping.
If i could rate this lower, i would wholeheartedly. Ive had my computer "repaired" once at this location and got back a glorified paperwieght in the general shape of my pc. They sent the pc out to get the screen fixed, which was the problem. Before then, it ran fine. Now, it runs awful. Why? Because not only did they download malware on my computer, they stripped the RAM from it and put in cheaper, worse running RAM, they corrupted half my files, and permanently messed up my settings which took a MONTH to fix myself. Today was the first time we used Geek Squad services and it was a fabulous experience. Great customer service and they really know their stuff! We had to wait 3 weeks but that wasn’t their fault and it was well worth the wait. We even called them with a follow up question after they left and they came back and fixed it for us. Very happy with Geek Squad.
