I feel like Geek Squad has gotten a lot better this year, contrary to the reviews from a year ago! I had a wonderful experience with Josh, who made the whole experience very smooth when I had to bring my laptop in for a fix-up. He was super friendly and expressed a lot of enthusiasm when asked about technology. Fantastic service.
My husband brought his computer in there since a new part wasnt working and after 3 days they told him it was working and there was nothing wrong with it, gave it to him without powering it on to show him it was working, and he brought it home and it still does not work. Waste of money and time
5+ stars for Keith who helped my 87-year-old mother through computer issues and explaining ads, phishing, and what to be careful of. Keith had a calm and soothing way to explain complicated topics and ensure understanding.
Jay is the excellent technical person for Geek Squad. I bought my computer at Costco and ended up to return as I have no tech support at Costco. I appreciate Jay very much!!
Geek Squad was an absolute waste of time and money. After my water-damaged MacBook was assessed at Apple (who told me it could boot into target disk mode for data transfer), I went to Geek Squad after I was told over the phone that I could pick up a new MacBook and they would assist me with the data transfer. Instead, the employee ignored everything I explained, dismissed the clear solution I provided (even while I showed him Apple’s instructions that I Googled in less than 5 seconds), and kept trying pointless power cycles.... read more
