Had to go through them for a laptop repair and I pay for a "total tech warrenty" only to have them tell me its my fault for the problem and they won't cover it. even though over the phone I was told by 4 seperate people it would be covered. horrible communication, horrible customer service, go anywhere but here this place needs to know its not okay to treat customers this way. NEVER PURCHASE THE TECH SUPPORT. They will continue to charge you for two additional years after cancellation and then refuse to address the issue hanging up the second you ask to speak to a supervisor. To stop the charges I would have had to cancel and reactivate my credit card. Their continued charges are fraud and I am reporting this activity to the Attorney General of Michigan.
Went in to have my computer unlocked as my password wasn’t working. I was told I need an appointment to drop off. There was no line and no one being helped at the time I walked in. There were 2 workers sitting at the counter talking, again with no customers. And I was turned away to make an appointment for a later time! Worst customer service. And this is every time with Best Buy, Geek Squad! Awful!
I had a TV, sound bar, and behind-the-TV outlet installed by the Geek Squad, and the experience was excellent. Blake and Alek arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and delivered top-notch results. My new Best Buy TV and sound bar not only function perfectly but also look absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with the setup!
Be aware: When one calls with a question the phone transfers to an international office, every time I've called. "Their phones must be busy so you're switched here," is the standard answer, along with please provide your name, phone number, etc., and credit card for a home visit or we can log on remotely for you. It's starts to feel like a scam.
