I can't get through on the phone to ask Geek Squad a question about pricing. I can't look up pricing because my computer is broken. I guess I have to just find another it. This is to frustrating. Update: I decided to actually just go to the store to request a service. I spoke with both a chat representative, and a 24 hour phone support but got hung up on both times. Now I have been waiting in line for 15 minutes at the store.
Took my Dell XPS13 laptop in because it wouldn't charge. They told me it wasn't repairable because it would need a motherboard, I'd need to buy a new computer. I went home and did research, not only was their input wrong, the repair is pretty simple. I bought the power port for $25 and with the help of my son replaced it in about 45 minutes. I recommend going to a repair shop that isn't trying to sell new computers.
I would give a 0 star if possible. The Geeksquad staff were terrible. I scheduled my first appointment for iPhone battery change, but they did not prepare the correct battery even thought I stated clearly which battery I needed and schedule the appointment a week ahead. I have to wait for the order for a week. When the battery arrived, staff called me and told me to just meet them in the store without appointment.
