I was referred by various family members to go to Gabe. In April I handed off my paperwork. Its now October and to this day i can't find him, he doesn't reply to emails or phone calls or even his personal phone. You can't find him at his office cuz it's closed. I wish I had seen all the reviews before I decided to drop off my paperwork. Now I'm in a bind with IRS. Do not do business with this person. Something shady may be going on....
Unfortunately, a terrible experience. Begins on a positive note and he never returned your phone calls after that.
We have filed with Gabe for at least 6-7 years and last year he pushed out our taxes and made us late to file and this year just completely ghosted us. He used to be very professional and quick and just over all great at his job. However, the last couple yrs he has completely gone downhill. We have friends that he did the same to and now he has all our paperwork and everything and won’t respond.
I called the office and spoke with Stacy. She said go ahead and send in your taxes. This was the end of February., she said once they get them, it would be two weeks three weeks tops to file. Well, we are in July. I have had no contact with him. I contacted the IRS no extension was Filed.. I’ve been to his office four times each time the door was locked and closed. I’ve left messages daily call daily email daily no response.. Thanks to Geek Financial now I have a late penalty filing and daily interest of the amount I owe.
If I could leave no stars I would. I’m hesitant on writing this review because he’s not a good guy. He talks about all his other customers with us. I’m know so much about PNM because of him. I’m hesitant to write this review because I do own a small business that he will trash talk. But Gabe has caused so much stress on me my taxes are not done no extension has been filed.
