This is one of the worst financial institutions I have worked with. Difficult to make car payments and pay off. They did not release the loan, even though it was paid off. Wait time to talk to a rep are ridiculous. I would not bank here.
I recently fell victim to a scam...Although GECU wasn’t involved or at fault, my account was hit with insufficient funds charge. Went in to see if they would forgive the charge (we had transferred money as soon as we found out), but I was denied since it was not caused by GECU...Being a member since the mid ‘80’s, I thought I might get some consideration, but that didn’t happen. Seems harsh to me, to turn away a member like that.
