The pandemic rocked our industry's supply chain and each new day is a little different than the one before, but none have been the same as our first 32 years in business. I have purchased two bikes here and recently took a bike for repair and was not impressed to say the least. Brought the bike home after the repair and during the first ride the chain came off. Took the bike back and they made it seem like it was my fault. Not even an apology for not crimping down the chain loop. Then the guy gives me back the bike with the seat raised after he took it for a test run. Had to then go home and search for an Allen key to put seat back down. Went in for a quick fix and got an amazing experience. The gentleman not only fixed it, but also talked through it, making sure I understood what was causing the problem so I wouldn’t repeat it!
Was very happy with my service at Gears. From the moment we entered you can tell they listen to every customer and not just push them through quickly. We had gone to two other bike shops (not saying they weren’t good) but Ron and Mike took the time to listen to my son’s issues with his bike and explain to the both of us why it was happening and to watch out for certain things to minimize our issue from happening again.
