Any local person knows that Gearhead is five stars! What a great store and great team! The proof is in the longevity of employees. It's nice to have friends in Gearhead. On my recent trip I needed the right shoe to solve some very specific foot issues. Jesse told me more than I already knew about my own feet, and was the absolute expert consultant on shoes and proper socks. There's no substitute for in-person service! Thanks to the Hergets for all you do for our city!
Shopping at GH downtown is always a pleasure!! Is not the normal retail they care!! They are friends making you experience better
I ordered a Specialized bike from an online app. I was given 48 hours to inspect the bike and make sure the bike was advertised. The bike arrived and the chain was very tangled. I struggled for a day and a half trying to figure it out. I phoned gearhead to see if they could take a look and fix the issue. They told me to bring the bike. They had it done within 5 minutes at no charge. Needless to say I was very appreciative and will definitely go back there for any needs concerning my bike! Thank you guys!!
Visiting my buddy in Jonesboro, he took me to a place I would love - Gearhead. This place was great, carried all of the good brands out there like Patagonia, Altra, etc. Plus the people there are cool - being an avid MTB'r, one of the guys showed me on Trail Forks where all of the good trails at Craigshead Park were. Awesome place!
I took my bike there to get different handlebars , they said it would cost $10.00 , I went back a week later because I didn’t hear from them , they said they couldn’t find the handlebars I wanted , I told them to just put my old handlebars back on , they said they lost them . They put a new handlebar stem on for new bars and new brake cables and levers , that’s not what I wanted , it ended up costing me $85.00 , I’ll never go back there and I gave up riding my bike .
