I purchased a larger rug for our dining room and after two years all of the color faded from the rug. I spend $1600.00 on this rug and purchased at the same time a smaller verision of the same rug and have not had any issues with fading. My husband and I rolled up the rug (9x10) took it to the West Ashley store so Harry the owner could inspect it. i love this store – I have been shopping here for years and always find interesting and unique things, The sales staff will help you pull it all together. They have things for people just moving into their first home and wonderful things for someone furnishing his fifth! They have lots of things currently featured in the decorating magazines. I can't wait to pop in soon and see what is new.
Great Place – I liked GDC very much! I am not sure why the good review is not posted on yellow pages. The people there were very friendly and I really liked their merchandise.
People are caring and helpful – Gdc Home in Mount Pleasant has been my favorite Interior store for years.. I always try to go in and see what has come in new- as often as I can. I was sad to read about the SCLowcountryLady's experinence. But I also noticed that the comment was 1 year old. I have always had a good experience- people are friendly and trying to help you find what you are looking for.. The staff has product knowledge and know how to make your shopping convenient. I recommend it to everybody!
WORST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR INTERIOR STORE IN CHARLESTON – I have lived in Charleston all of my life thus far. I also take interior decorating very seriously and expect good customer service when I know that I am about to drop some major moolah on furniture and such. The staff at the Mt Pleasant rates the lowest in customer service compared to other interior decorating stores in Charleston, SC. Several other women in my social network have commented the same.
