WORST customer service ever I recently contacted G&C Mutual Bank to explore refinancing options for my mortgage, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor—staff were unhelpful and came across as rude, with little regard for how to speak to potential customers. While they promote competitive variable rates, what isn’t immediately clear is the number of additional fees they charge—fees that many other banks do not. Travelled for two hours to my bank to be told they are cash free. They don't even have an ATM. Told by staff that my card they had stopped is working. Tried to use it in another banks ATM and was told it was unauthorised. DO NOT BANK HERE. ITS A NIGHTMARE Real banks hold cash. It's my money I'm trying to get to. So much for being all about the members
Not impressed for cold call marketing - what a nuisance I am not their client and really rude to do so
Zero customer service available. Not just bad, impossible to get any response. Avoid if you like to access your money.
I have been with this bank for over 20 years. It's not a big bank and yes like with every other bank you can wait for customer service but you will speak to someone in Australia and they will be courteous, efficient and go the extra mile. The security measures in place also put my mind at ease, and from personal experience know that every effort goes into protecting my money from scammers and cyber hackers. I have had great dealings with this bank and will continue to bank with them.
