I was called by GB collects on 5/14/26 saying I am in collections for a bill for my strokes, for an ambulance ride. I then called Blue Cross Blue Shield AND the ambulance company - and I'm not in collections with either company. I paid $2143.90 for the ambulance ride - in full. Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC doesn't even send people to Debt collectors. GB Collects yelled at me on the phone, as well. I asked them for proof. Mandee Masino is the WORST. She is the most unprofessional person that needs more training or find a new job. My assistant tried to get more information from her, and she cursed him out and hung up on him. Just because he wanted to make sure this company wasn't a scam. I would seriously recommend her taking anger management training.

THIS WHOLE PLACE IS A SCAM. I negotiated my debt (that wasn't even my fault, (it was due to a previous employer accidentally not paying my last month's insurance bill after quitting that job) with a horrible human being named Erin Dempsey. Erin and I came to an agreed upon amount (which is all in writing!!) and she said she submitted it to the original account. My company name is the same as the company they’re going after except that the company they want is an LLC not Inc. and they are also several states away. That said this company definitely doesn’t do their homework and to top it all off once you catch them in their lies they hang up on you and toss you around until you stop calling. They also give off a very sleezy scam vibe.

I just got off the phone with an Ian from the company and this is definitely a scam he was very rude condescending I told him I didn’t want to speak to him. If I was gonna set up any type of payment plan, it would not be with him. He would not transfer me to anybody else, and he would not call the company apparently that I owed money to I said why don’t we get them on a three-way right now and I’ll make the payment directly to them and he would not.
