Similar to other reviews, could never get hold of David, he never picked up the phone. 3x gorgeous 1950s Danish chairs being repaired, but he moved warehouses, didn't tell me, then when I went to pick them up they were missing. Gutted as I have the only 4th chair remaining and the set all we shipped over from Ireland. The thing is only the material was being replaced, but he replaced with a completely different colour/fabric! So I took 3x back to ensure he got it right - only to lose all 3 chairs with no payment for lost ite... read more
still no product after 5 years I return to him every few months and he's always busy. now, 2020, his phone is disconnected,his shop has moved and still no word about my family relic (an articulating high chair). it looks like I'll never see the relic ever again
I've had heaps of furniture done over the years and I can't fault the repairs
I paid $300 for a half arsed job on a mid-century highchair, for which I had to chase David down for two missing pieces for several weeks after the job had already taken over a month, during which he moved premises without letting me know. Apparently it wasn't the first time he had done this. I imagine he respects people who are assertive and hold him to account, but if you're a sook like me who trusts that people are just going to do the right thing, leave this grumpy old bastard alone.
