We have 3...unbelievably tight, smoke only comes out stack. Very even heat distribution
I have been using Gator Pits and their products for over 15 years. I currently have 2 Gator Pits; one is an offset BBQ Smoker, and the other is a very versatile grill / BBQ. (My terms: Grilling is direct high heat cooking, BBQ is indirect low and slow). There is nothing I haven’t cooked on these pits! absolutely horrible customer service. please read below an email he sent me. In addition, he should probably try writing a book. I would suggest FICTION, he is very good at it. Said, I wouldn't respond, but I will bite on your childish email just now. I figured you wouldn't read it. Just like you never read any of the emails with the owner's manuals. We have just taken delivery of our second unit from Gator Pit, and like the first one, it is perfect. Units are extremely well built, fit for purpose in how everything is laid out, with features not found anywhere else; Full feeding entertainment on wheels! The owner Richey puts customer service and making sure his customers get exactly what they want as a top priority, and can bring anyone's cook trailer fantasies to life. Thanks again Gator Pit!
We rented this for a community event. We spoke directly with the owner from the initial inquiry to bringing the pit back. Absolutely smooth transaction. Pit functioned perfectly, baked some biscuits in it when we first picked it up to test for hot spots. No crazy temp spikes, has tuning plates in it to help regulate heat. Burned two bags of wood in eleven hours. Would absolutely recommend Gator Pit for your rental needs!
