⭐️⭐️ I had a disappointing experience at the Kapaa branch of Gather Federal Credit Union. I went there with my partner to open a joint account. My partner is a U.S. citizen, and I brought my Thai passport as identification. Unfortunately, the staff refused to proceed and only asked for a Social Security Number without offering any explanation about possible alternatives. I was helped by Gail and Brienne on two separate occasions and appreciate both experiences. They were both efficient and helpful in helping set up a debit and credit card. Great customer service!
1 star is exaggerated! Overly -5 would be more fitting. My wife went in and her ID didn't match which I understand completely. My wife was a bit upset because they never gave her issues before, not even Melony, the lady that was helping her today. I went in with all my proper information, making me the the customer now. Melony chose to continue to make comments and keep my wife on the hook with an argument instead of diffusing the situation which is a Branch Manager/Supervisors priority.
