I've used Gateway cycles a few times since moving to the area recently. Both times they've been friendly and helpful. They sorted out a problem with my gears quickly which was v much appreciated
Replaced my leaking tyre in just as much time as it took me to get tea and a slice of cake when I was passing through Abergavenny on a long distance bike ride. Very friendly and helpful; would recommend.
I’d like to say thank you for sorting out the problem I had with my bike. They were very helpful and gave me some good advice at a reasonable price👍.
My personal experience wasn't the best, took the bike in as I needed a new chain and my wireless gears weren't shifting properly, was instantly told I'd probably need a new cassette without the bike being looked at I did say I think it's something to do with the derailleur needing tweaking , I left it to be sorted was sold a new cassette and when I picked it up after being sold new parts the problem was still there, took it back to the shop as it was clearly not ridden to diagnose the problem, then they tried selling me a ne... read more
