I went here to open a bank account for the first time and was met with very kind and helpful individuals. I was helped by Megan who was able to get me through the entire process quickly and painlessly. She was able to ease my worries and answer all the questions. They also offer quite of a bit of nice benefits. I don't know much about banks just yet, but they seem like a nice place to start. I was also given a nice gift just for showing up. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!
Wonderful service
Went to this branch with a friend of mine that has an account at Gate City Bank. My friend was trying to cash a small check from a tax refund. They took care of an issue right on the spot by chatting with a team member at a different location from what I understood and they resolved the issue in a few minutes. A person does not get that type of good customer service at banks other than Gate City Bank. Highly recommended.

I have had my Gate City Bank account for 6 years. I have direct deposits, automatic payments, and transfers to other accounts going on monthly. Everything has been flawless. Gate City Bank has been the best banking institution i have ever had. I had a new card come to replace another one that was reaching its expiration date. I forgot to activate the new one or change some of the accounts that I have automatically bill my account. I recieve an alert of denied charge.
