Disappointed, talked with Gary, really enjoyed his talk. However, brought 75 hp Johnson 87 in for water pump replacement. Started today to test 1/2/22 in a trash can filled with water. Still nothing coming from tale tube. Also slow idle not working. Motor racing on its own. Will be searching for the right mechanic. Feeling 😞 sad for several hundred dollars spent and not any farther ahead. Don’t know if he is doing work himself or someone who claims they know more then Gary and causing him conflict.
My first visit to Gary's I knew I found the place I wanted to take my boat. He recently preformed some maintenance on my tracker. Got it back in a reasonable time n at a reasonable price. Best place I've ever taken my boat. Gary n the guys are great. The mascot Ruby will greet you. Thanks again guys the old girl ran
Knowledge & skills at it's best what more can I say
Used to be the best shop ever. But with his new help. Gary's service has changed to 0 stars. Called and texted about my boat that I brought up there. It was there 2 1/2 months and he never touched it at all then after 1 more month he did Carb work on my motor and changed oil $366. When I asked about the controls parts he said they were on back order. But I found them myself he got mad and told me to come get my boat. The work they did on my motor lasted 10min on the water. 3rd generation boat repair man, very knowledgeable of outboards, reasonable price, and very friendly. Will deal with again.
