Garven Store has been family owned and operated since 1932. Beef Jerky, canned foods, brisket, sausage, knives, and gasoline have always been sold throughout it's entire history. We have patio seating, clean restrooms, cold drinks(soda,beer), a wealth of local information, and friendly service. Garven Store is known as the oldest landmark in Texas as well as one of the oldest convenience stores in the United States.

Cool little store!! Jerky and brisket sandwich great.
Honestly the best jerky that I’ve had, I almost ran out of gas and stumbled upon this place. Nice people and lots of goods for purchase.
Garvin Store has really went to the crapper these days. Used to go there all the time and it’s always been good. I’m a local too. They used to have great Sliced Brisket sandwiches and sausage wraps. The last few times I’ve been there they he sandwiches and wraps have gone to shit. I chalked it off to just a bad stroke of luck that day. Today I stopped there, got a BBQ Sandwich, a sausage wrap and a Coke. $31.00. I was thought, wow! And paid the guy. Got in my truck to go back to work on the ranch and pulled out the sandwich.... read more
Clean bathrooms, nice folks but their drink coolers are COVERED in black mildew or mold. Wouldn't drink anything from them.
Horrible experience and very racist if you are a minority don’t go here
