He is beyond incompetent. I do not see how this attorney ever graduated law school. And a very incompetent guardian ad litem. Take my advice and never hire him nor his firm to represent you.
We used phill to help with an estate unfortunately. Biggest mistake I have ever made. He would take calls while we were in his office. Executorship was challenged he failed to bring up facts and evidence in court which resulted in removal of executor. He was no help in any aspect. Late and forgetting to send letters to beneficiary’s which made things worse. There were people at the hearing ready to go on stand and he did not use them. He did not care or try to win. Mr. Garland was the GAL/Attorney for our son. Let me just say our parental rights were terminated and our son who returned home at 18 does not have anything positive to say about either attorney at this firm. Mr. Garland worked to terminate the parental rights of a decorated retired law enforcement officer with 26 years experience who just happened to be a black woman. GREAT LAWYER! Absolutely recommend!
If Carrie is assigned to your case as a GAL, request a new lawyer be assigned. Completely incompetent, didn't do anything a GAL should do, did nothing to protect the minor in question.
