Despise this district. You literally can live next door to a school and still can’t go to it because 100 kids ten miles away want to go there first. They are slow with processing. They do not return emails. I hate I moved I Within this school district. Literally 100 feet from Rockwall district and can’t go there because I am “zoned” to garland.

I wanted to share the new bathroom policy that was presented to students yesterday without parent knowledge at Lyles Middle School in Garland, TX (Garland Independent School District). Very rude staff, called for a question and did not let me finish my question, immediately she said NO! There are ways around some things that could not be done prior, it's very different when they don't want to do the work. They do not have the decency to reply to an email either. It's a shame that we as parents want the best for our children but cannot do it without the support of the Administration.
