I found this place working through a temp agency. I felt it in my heart, I would not want to work anywhere else. I applied full time and I thank God every day for blessing me with this job. It feels like HOME. 🏡 The house is beautiful, inside and out. The area is gorgeous. Nice quiet neighborhood, nature, the hills. The stars at night (are big and bright) 🎶👏🏼. We had our mother there 8 months but decided to move her out in Spring '24 because of frequent staff turnover and some safety issues. Positives are that it is a small facility (house) so it is easier to get to know other residents. However the smaller size means not much common space to hang out (particularly in cold weather) and less quantity and quality of entertainment options for residents. Follow up from last review. Another shout out to staff at Quaker Acres! Jacque manager doing an awesome job! Attentive and handles issues with ease thank you for your excellent communication skills! Teresa daytime caregiver does an outstanding job taking care of so many daily needs. Also newer member Christy, such a great team! Thank you for all you do and helping my Mom acclimate to her new home!
Nestled in the beautiful west side of Arvada, in a neighborhood only classified as rural residential with beautiful views. This is a true find for your family member! Top knotch service with a daily menu of home cooked meals made from scratch and personalized care that truely is beyond compare. I would highly recommend this facility, and company. This group really cares and it shows. Thank you Quaker Acres for taking such exceptional care of my mom.
