This location is permanently closed now, but I have been to this place many times growing up. This was a fabulous store to grocery shop at. There was a great variety of products from Mexican to Italian to even Korean products. That was what I found to be very spectacular. The people were nice no matter who I was talking to. Moreover, this was absolutely convenient as long as it was in business.
I love that I can find almost anything I'd need to prepare a homemade Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Polish, German, or Italian dish. They really do have a little bit of everything. Udon & soba, kochujang, tobanjian, fish sauce, all kinds of curry. The prices of the produce are really great but it's the wide selection of pantry items that keeps me coming back every week. EDIT: This location has shut down but the Garden Fresh chain has consistent quality. The Mundelein location is far away but it's fantastic!!
Very good prices. Store is clean and you can find I wide variety of ethnic food. Specially the produce department. Has some items that I have never even seen. Good store for those who like to adventure into new things! SADLY THEY CLOSED THEIR DOORS FOR GOOD. I HOPE THEY OPEN ANOTHER STORE NEARBY.
