Our parents, Hugh & Dorothy Thorne, joined the John Ganton Countryside Community in 2016. They first moved into semi assisted living in the Courts, then when dad's health required, they moved on to the Grand. Dad passed away in 2020 at the Grand, then after some time, our mother needed more care and moved on to Brightside. From day one, our parents felt at home. POS, went there for rehab after back surgery, had a very intensive surgery which needed to be tended to TWO TIMES a DAY. They tell you they are short staffed well then DON'T ACCEPT A PATIENT WHO IS IN DIRE STRAITS, AND HAS TO BE MOVED WITH A BRACE, A GAIT BELT AND OTHER ITEMS DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF DAY. REHAB IS A JOKE YOU GET 15 MINUTES OUT OF YOUR ROOM THEN BACK TO WATCHING TV. I DON'T WANT THAT I WANT INTERMITTENT WALKS. BUT NOOOOO NO WONDER THEIR REHAV PATIENTS HAVE THE WORKS BACKS IN THE WORLD DUE TO THEIR NEGLACT.... read more
