Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Can't wait to travel East again
We enjoyed the hands-on and interactive displays about the process of chocolate making. Samples were provided! This building also houses the Ganong Chocolate Museum, where you can see antique chocolate making equipment and packaging. There are many exhibits describing the history of the Ganong brothers and the company. The Ganong factory is located elsewhere in town.
Disappointing. Found out on arrival that there were limited tours and they had to be booked in advance. Store prices for well known Ganong products was higher than local retail...
Stopped at the Famous and original Ganong Chocolate Store last week while we vacationed in the area. My mom’s favourite treat has always been Chicken Bones since I was a child so I naturally bought a bag. I also hand picked some truffles to take back to the cottage - we had a taste testing by cutting the truffles in half and we tasted just about everything bought that day.
